THE VIE Wine & Grill at VIE Hotel Bangkok is marking the French National Day Bastille Day this Sunday, July 14 with a grand feast, when its usual Sunday Brunch becomes a Joyeuses Fête with traditional French cuisine prepared by VIE’s French chef, noted for his savory Provençal style that turns the high quality array of our delicious restaurant fare into cozy home cooking.
The feast includes a bevy of salads with foie gras, terrines and the ultimate assortment of imported French cheeses. Highlights include Bouillabaisse fish filet and seafood served with rouille and crouton ; mussels, clams and King Crab on ice; and a carving station offering whole sea bass roasted with sea salt virgin sauce, plus trio tartar, beef, salmon and langoustine and the traditional frog legs with garlic, Parsley and butter sauce.
Desserts include Chinese pear in sweet rose wine and cinnamon syrup, Tarte Tropézienne served both plain and with fresh fruits, crème brulée lavender, Mini Baba, served with orange rhum syrup, vanilla & chocolate soufflé.
