AT SONEVA, it goes beyond Christmas Eve and Christmas and New Year’s Eve. It also has a lot of activities for everyone in the week between the two big holidays, starting Christmas Eve day with breakfast in The Tiffany Room, followed by a Benz Cooking Class at ‘Benz Restaurant’
Christmas Eve starts early for drinks at the bach, between 6-7 p.m., with carol singing by children from the Klong Jao School. Pre-dinner drinks and Champagne cocktails will be accompanied by Christmas selection of Canapés to go with them. Santa may even show up to join the party.
19:30 – 22:00 Christmas Eve Dinner, between 6/30-10 p.m. under the stars at ‘The Beach’, where you can savour an authentic traditional Christmas Eve dinner, F\featuring roasted turkey and Lamb with garlic, pancetta and lemon ciabatta stuffing; brussels sprouts with chestnuts and sage; bacon, homemade sausage and prune rolls; creamy bread and shallot sauce; sustainable foi gras terrine; and home-smoked salmon.
Remember to order your turkey for tomorrow for the Soneva’s family style in-villa lunch or dinner.
Monday 25th, Christmas Day, starts with breakfast in˜The Dining Room’, featuring cocktails, ham and cheese casserole, and spicy, sticky cinnamon rolls.
From 12.3o to 4 p.m., dine around Christmas Lunch at ‘The Beach’. Â Christmas lunch waits on the white sands of The Beach, where Soneva’s chefs have prepared a sumptuous and yet subtle selection of tastes from our organic garden to accompany the catch of the day caught from the bays of Koh Kood and beyond.
There’s a Cooking Class at â€˜Chef’s Table and the Cooking Hut, where the resort’s Indian Chef will help you discover Indian cuisine; from mouth-watering tandoori, butter chicken Masala, to the delights of the famous Naan and chapatti.
From 5 to 6.30 p.m., there’s wine tasting at the Wine Cellar. Some of the finest Old World wines from France, Italy and Spain, all carefully selected by our Sommelier along with cold cuts from Spain and cheese from France.
Christmas Dinner is served at ‘The View’ & ‘Benz’ from6.30 to 10 p.m., featuring a European Classic Christmas Dining Table.
From Tuesday until New Year’s Day, there’s a raft of activities, including more cooking classes; lunches at The Cave or around the resort; an introduction to wellness screening and an non-invasive reading of your body’s composition and biomarkers; a single ingredient pop up at ‘The Jetty’; dining at the ‘The View’ or Benza, or a BBQ feast at The Beach.
There’s also Family Treasure Hunt to find the lost treasure once buried by unknown pirates; and an Asian Street Market Buffet at All Aboard, the Asian Orient Express and explore a plethora of culinary a real and authentic flavours created by our chefs. Your stops include Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Cambodia, Laos, India and Sri Lanka.
All children are invited to become a Junior Master Chef at the Ice Cream Parlour and join this amazing event with the chance to win prizes. Our chefs will be there to teach and guide the little chefs, only six years and up.
And a Garden Lunch at the ‘Organic Garden’, where you can pick your own herbs and vegetables as the resortâ€™s chefs prepare your lunch while Khun Khem shares his experience in permaculture.
On Thursday, don’t miss Chocolate galore at “So Chocoholic”, and a Champagne Dinner at Arrival Jetty. Experience a unique dinner at an unexpected setting under the stars.
Learn the local art of making organic coconut oil at our Six Senses Spa, or attend a special workshop to learn how different precious and semi-precious gem stones can rebalance the energy centres of the body (chakras).
Your New Years Eve Journey starts a day early at a New Year’s Eve welcome reception at ‘The Beach’ at 6 p.m., and take in a breathtaking sunset at The View, accompanied by traditional cocktails and the sounds of the saxophone.

Make your way all the way down to The Beach to dine on oysters, sustainable foie gras, and incredible wines and drinks to match with all the food.
