New meeting offerings on Hua Hin historic land at Centara Grand Beach Resort

NEW MEETING OPTIONS are now being offered at Colonial Hall on historic land at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin.

Colonial Hall, fitted with wireless high-speed Internet access, audio-visual equipment and adjustable sound and lighting, allows a maximum capacity of 300 persons theatre-style or cocktail-style. The room can also be divided into two smaller venues, making it popular any size of events.

Located in the heart of Hua Hin with prime beach frontage, Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin’s meeting options now offer latest packages with flexible meeting options for different event requirements, with all-inclusive coffee breaks and leisure activities.

Whether it’s corporate meetings, product launches, private parties, choose from many of the resort’s versatile meeting and event locations.

For a smaller-scale of business sessions to sizeable conferences, Hua Hin Hall features an intimate meeting environment to accommodate up to 50 persons classroom-style, with abundance of natural daylight as well as the hotel’s signature views of lush greenery, while the resort’s Boardroom is available with one of the city’s most magnificent sea views.

The resort’s outdoor spaces can also handle large events of up to 700 guests, at the beach, poolside or by the golf putting green.

Other memorable activities can be added to an event program, such as kayaking, paintball, or early morning alms giving to Buddhist monks, making the resort a perfect location for incentive groups, team-building exercises and for those who seek a distinctive meeting experience.

The flexible venues are made even more appealing thanks to an extensive range of accommodation options within Centara Grand Hua Hin itself, which include colonially inspired guestrooms, luxurious suites and private pool villas.

There is also a choice of dining venues serving a wide selection of global cuisines, whether the tangy spices of Thai cuisine at Suan Bua, or the refined European specialties at Railway, or Japanese flair at Hagi, The Museum’s Afternoon Tea or beachside al-fresco dining at the award-winning COAST Beach Club and Bistro.

Anantara Layan Phuket offering Mercedes charging stations

ANANTARA LAYAN PHUKET RESORT will be among the first Anantara properties to feature Mercedes-Benz charging stations for Mercedes-Benz plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is partnering with Mercedes Benz in this initiative as part of an all-encompassing campaign to promote an eco-conscious luxury lifestyle at all properties, including Anantara Layan.

Anantara Layan embraces the concept that extravagance and environmental awareness can go hand in hand.

Anantara Layan is a luxury hotel brand that showcases indigenous experiences, and actively participates in conservation efforts to help preserve Phuket’s lush beauty — from the virgin rainforests of the interior to the pristine beaches and waters surrounding the island.

As part of the pioneering brand that was the first to ban single-use plastic straws at all properties in Asia, Anantara Layan will continue to demonstrate support for sustainable options in luxury with the Mercedes-Benz charging stations.

Visitors can recharge their Mercedes-Benz plug-in hybrid, reducing emissions and reliance on fossil fuels while they enjoy their lavish stay or sumptuous meal.

“This partnership is just another way for us to contribute to keeping Phuket green, while always maintaining our signature luxury,” said Frederic Varnier, managing director of Anantara Layan.

“Our guests can enjoy their time at Anantara Layan knowing that their experience was opulent and luxurious, without being wasteful.”

When staying for four nights or more anytime up to June 30, 2019 and guests are invited to join the resort’s green initiatives at Farm on the Hill. And as an added incentive, the resort pledges your last night’s accommodation rate to its community chest that supports the children’s ward at Koh Samui Hospital.

The multi-day experience includes a tour around Farm on the Hill, working in the farm with the resort’s team, learning how to make EMs (effective micro-organisms), bio cleaners and other interesting products in the Earth Lab, making signature lemongrass straws, savoring Thai afternoon tea at the Farm, picking produce and preparing lunch with the chef, and exploring the neighborhood by bike while cleaning Plai Laem Temple.

At the end of each stay, guests are treated to a 60-minute massage and manicure session at Six Senses Spa Samui, before bidding farewell to newfound friends at the Farm.
