Six Senses Partners with Covid Relief Bangkok Through three once-only experiences

Away with Six Senses

AS THE WORLD UNFURLS AND DAYDREAMS turn to the next vacation,Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas is reopening around the world.

True to a brand built on wellness, all the extra precautionary steps have been taken care of with great thought and responsibility so guests can throw off constraints, live life to the full and be adventurous, free spirited and carefree.

Mindful that everyone has experienced different personal challenges, Six Senses is re-opening with the approach of offering all the facilities and amenities of a hotel or resort when needed, with the reassurance of total privacy and seclusion for when they’re not.

All locations are set up to provide ample space for people to pause, reflect and reconnect with themselves and loved ones while providing a range of optional wellness programing and fun and quirky experiences.

Although the popular #AtHomeWithSixSenses initiative will continue to provide a portal into the heart of the Six Senses community, hosts are very much looking forward to inviting guests back in person. This will hopefully come as a welcome breath of fresh air for people who have been wanting to reawaken their senses and rediscover their laughter.

With on-going international travel restrictions in place in some countries, and to respect the uncertainty that some guests may be feeling, there is also the option to purchase Plan Now, Play Later Certificates, which include an extra 20 percent value, allowing them to buy now and reconnect later, and are valid for a period of three years.

Opened since July 1, Six Senses Samui is one of those feel-good places where lazing by the pool and losing track of time come naturally. Inspired by a Thai fishing village, private villas blend into the landscape of natural vegetation and Guest Experience Makers organize everything from jungle drives to boat trips. The latest addition is a stunning new two-bedroom Beach Reserve, which offers an unparalleled sense of space and privacy with a large infinity pool and sundeck

. Samui sunsets are not to be missed – guests can sail along the beaches, relax onboard one of the authentic Thai junks or a catamaran, and appreciate life’s gifts.

A tropical island set in awe-inspiring Phang Nga Bay. Natural vegetation and lush landscaping. Total privacy between each elevated villa, which are stilted and thatched in traditional Thai style. Private pool and Guest Experience Maker. Adventurous experiences and wellness immersions.

This is how the story unfolds at Six Senses Yao Noi on Phuket. While no villas scrimp on space, the Ocean Retreat can be combined with the Ocean Deluxe Pool Villa for a three-bedroom complex offering the ultimate in comfort and convenience. The Hilltop has also been recently expanded to include a dining area, a chill-out lounge and a bar overlooking one of the best views in Southeast Asia. Six Senses Yao Noi will re-open on July 24, 2020.

Anantara Spa’s new Himalayan Thermal Therapy Treatment

ANANTARA RESORTS & SPAS HAS LAUNCHED an exclusive signature wellness experience that channels infamous healing energies from the fabled Himalayan Mountains.

The Himalayan Thermal Therapy treatment is the newest addition to Anantara Spa menus in Thailand. This 90-minute wellness experience is a full-body experience that unifies the body and mind through innovative techniques that pamper from head to toe.

Harnessing the ancient healing energy of the Himalayan mountains, heated hand-carved salt stones are applied to, and glide along the body to dissolve mental and physical tension.

These ethically sourced salt stones contain 84 minerals and trace elements that, when applied to the body, work to re-mineralise the entire system, thus inducing a serene state of equilibrium and promoting natural detoxification.

Transcending guests into total bliss, the interplay between hot and cold is introduced. This thermal therapy is based on the scientifically proven benefits of applying heat to the body following by skin-cooling massage techniques.

A facial massage using iced Rose Quartz Gua Sha crystals relieves muscle tension, stimulates circulation and leaves skin with a beautiful glow.

This full-body ritual is crowned with a relaxing head massage focusing on Marma points to de-stress the nervous system and refresh the mind. The overall result is a deep sense of renewal, a radiant complexion and improvement to overall wellbeing.

Drawing upon Thailand’s wellness traditions, cultural inspirations and therapeutic ingredients, Anantara Spa offers unique signature journeys deeply rooted in authentic luxury, holistic practices and indigenous experiences, using chemical-free products, treatments and rituals, inspired by the Thai origins of Anantara, while innovative modern therapies and natural products promise the highest definition of relaxation and pampering.

Anantara Spas are a haven of peace and tranquillity – an utterly relaxing and rejuvenating experience in unique settings. Currently, Anantara Spa operates over 40 spas in 16 countries across Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, Africa, South America and Europe.

Six Senses Partners with Covid Relief Bangkok Through three once-only experiences

SIX SENSES HOTELS RESORTS SPAS HAS PARTNERED with Covid Relief Bangkok which is co-ordinating a relief effort to distribute essential items (masks, soaps, hand sanitizers, and food) to the most vulnerable groups in Bangkok, working with Thai health authorities to maintain protective measures including social distancing to prevent the spread of the virus.

The partnership has been spearheaded by Director of Eat With Six Senses Celia Lam, herself a Bangkok resident. It began as an internal food initiative involving fellow Six Senses corporate hosts through their Mission Wellness initiative who were quick to do what they know best – and what is so deeply ingrained in the brand’s culture of being responsible and caring – to come together and provide support, compassion and kindness to others.

Celia’s memo to all hosts explained: “Rice is one of the most important staple foods, feeding over half of the world’s population. With #CovidReliefBangkok, we can support our communities that urgently need our help. All it takes is one – one bowl, one bag of rice. Together we will make a difference.”

But why stop there? Since the beginning of the pandemic, Celia has become a firm favorite on the @SixSensesHotelsResortsSpas Facebook channel, offering much needed food inspiration by streaming live, easy-to-follow cooking classes as part of the #AtHomeWithSixSenses campaign. Her Rocket Fuel immune booster recipe was one of the first videos to debut.

With that in mind, teaming up with the @socialgiver platform, Six Senses developed three GiveCard offerings for anyone wanting to support Covid Relief Bangkok and enjoy some totally unique Six Senses experiences at the same time.
