Two Centara resorts win TripAdvisor Travellers Awards 2017

TWO CENTARA PROPERTIES ranked within the Top 25 Thailand Family Hotels category – Centara Seaview Resort Khao Lak as No. 10, and Centara Kata Resort Phuket as No. 21 in the Family Hotels in Thailand awards in TripAdvisor Awards 2017.

Sala Rattanakosin voted Bangkok’s most loved rooftop bar

 

TIME OUT BANGKOK has presented its inaugural Time Out Bangkok Award to Sala Rattananakosin Bangkok as the most loved rooftop bar in Bangkok – winning over tantalizing Bangkok views like the Chao Phraya River, Grand Palace and Wat Pho.

Time Out Bangkok was supported by Thai beer giant Chang, joining top cities in the world such as London, Lisbon, New York, Chicago and Tokyo in rewarding the people who make the most of their passion. The even more prestigious Wine Spectator Best Award of Excellence recognizes destinations for serious wine lovers. Shangri-la named to Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2016

READERS OF Condé Nast Traveler (US) voted Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok the ninth in Southern Asia on a list of “Top Hotels in Southern Asia” in the magazine’s 29th annual Readers’ Choice Awards 2016 at a high-profile presentation dinner in New York recently.

The Readers’ Choice Awards 2016 features the world’s best hotels, resorts and cruise lines as selected by subscribers. More than 300,000 travellers took part in the survey this year. By competing against a number of hoteliers in the region, the hotel achieved a score of 94.05, ranking the ninth in Southern Asia and the second in Thailand.

“The entries were from the South Asia countries and were more impressive year after year.  Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok has outshone our peers and proven exceptional levels of professionalism and competence in our field,” said Phillip Couvaras, the hotel’s area manager and general manager.
